The only Star Wars expanded universe novel I've read was one written by a friend of mine - Dawn of The Jedi: Into the Void - and he put me in there (sort of!). Into the Void is an interesting and creative look at the Dawn of the Jedi, and I think that Star Wars fans, among which I count myself, will find it a useful addition to the canon. Obi-Wan might have considered the whole Jedi Code null & void once he realized that he and Yoda were the only ones left…why cling to a delusion? Also the book is deceptively short.
